Calera Alabama, Meridian install the first Trackweigh®-4D system in the US.
The system installed is capable of bi-directional train weighing at speeds up to 60 mph, but is restricted to 10 mph due to local site requirements.
This site was also assessed for static weighing applications which is a requirement for NTEP certification. We are very pleased to announce that our initial testing of the system was within the accuracy requirements needed for this.
